Summary

Get ready to meet new friends in Book 4 of the beautifully illustrated escapades of Wallace the Brave。 Readers will be delighted with tales of friendship, discovery, and adventure。

Book 4 in the wonderfully imaginative Wallace The Brave series introduces an expanded and more diverse cast, including the dynamic, fan-favorite Rose, who gives Wallace a run for his money in kickball competitions, aquatic explorations, and other adventures。 Together with Rose, Spud, Amelia, and the rest of their friends, Wallace enjoys a lifestyle of mischief, exploration, (and yes, school) that will thrill middle-grade readers while reminding their parents of the carefree, nostalgic appeal of Calvin & Hobbes and other classic comics。

Wallace the Brave series is rapidly becoming one of my favorite children's graphic novel series of all time。 I grew up on Calvin and Hobbes, and the humor and hijinks found in Henry's series is very reminiscent of those classic comics。 Wallace expands his friend circle in this novel to include the new girl, Rose, who is definitely smarter and more polite than Wallace and crew, but she's still up for tricks and adventures and is a wonderful new character to follow。 This book takes us through anot Wallace the Brave series is rapidly becoming one of my favorite children's graphic novel series of all time。 I grew up on Calvin and Hobbes, and the humor and hijinks found in Henry's series is very reminiscent of those classic comics。 Wallace expands his friend circle in this novel to include the new girl, Rose, who is definitely smarter and more polite than Wallace and crew, but she's still up for tricks and adventures and is a wonderful new character to follow。 This book takes us through another year of Wallace's life from the start of summer to Christmas, and if filled with lots of humor。 Perfect for any kid looking for a homey adventure。 。。。more

Thank you to NetGalley for providing a copy of this in exchange for an honest review。I really liked this book and all the characters。 The collection is filled with short stories。 It’s a great, fast and enjoyable read。 I found myself chuckling at many of the antics in the stories。 The pictures that went with the book were simple, but well done。 Also the characters themselves were super cute。 Overall, I would read more by this author and read more with these characters。

It's the fourth book of the Wallace the Brave series! Yay!We're introduced to Rose, a budding polymath, and in some ways, out-Wallaces Wallace, although Rose's introduction brings her into the group as a complement of Wallace: Wallace may point out constellations, but Rose can talk about the stars in that constellation。Spud continues as the universal set-up man and The Most Neurotic Child In Rhode Island, with a startling tendency to be the victim of his own warnings。Amelia's back--with a bang。 It's the fourth book of the Wallace the Brave series! I am a huge fan of this artist and comic and this book doesn't disappoint。 The cast of characters is lovely and the plotlines are fun and warm。 There were new comics even this huge fan hasn't seen and they all made me smile。 I encourage anyone who misses the joy of reading Sunday comics to take a look at this (and the rest of the series)。*Netgalley ARC* but I also pre-ordered this to have a physical copy for myself! Rose is a great, seamless addition to the cast, and the rest of the comics follow that same zany calvin meets nate the great energy that makes this comic so enjoyable。 The regional details, the family dynamics, and the rhythm of the school year and the seasons make this so fun to read。**Thanks to the artist, publisher, and NetGalley for a free copy in exchange for an honest review。

Thank you to the author, Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley, for an ARC in exchange for an honest review。 I was not familiar with "Wallace the Brave", but very much enjoyed these short comics as vignettes of family life, friendship and adventure。 Funny, sometimes very funny, but coupled with a deeper message that opens the door to important conversations with your kids。 Thank you to the author, Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley, for an ARC in exchange for an honest review。 I was not familiar with "Wallace the Brave", but very much enjoyed these short comics as vignettes of family life, friendship and adventure。 Funny, sometimes very funny, but coupled with a deeper message that opens the door to important conversations with your kids。 。。。more

rounding this up to ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5。 a collection of comic strips focusing on the tales of wallace and friends as they discover life and going on adventures together。 it reminded me of reading the comics section in the newspapers where they feature short comic strips。 the art style is pretty similar too and personally i feel that its best to read them lightheartedly。 this is my first intro to wallace the brave comics and i picked this up not knowing it was book 4 of the collection - wished i knew more rounding this up to ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5。 a collection of comic strips focusing on the tales of wallace and friends as they discover life and going on adventures together。 it reminded me of reading the comics section in the newspapers where they feature short comic strips。 the art style is pretty similar too and personally i feel that its best to read them lightheartedly。 this is my first intro to wallace the brave comics and i picked this up not knowing it was book 4 of the collection - wished i knew more in depth of the characters so that i would be able to understand why certain characters act certain way。 overall i was pretty much entertained and probably will explore more of the comic series。 thank you @netgalley for providing me the ebook review copy! 💫 。。。more

You will enjoy this book more if you love comic strips and comics in general。 The artstyle is very much comics I repeat which I do not mind for such graphic novels meant for younger readers。 The art sequence is easy to follow and the dialogues/characters are quite engaging。A very much slice of life scenarios as the story, you will enjoy it if you enjoy such stories in general。Thank you, Andrews McMeel, for the advance reading copy。
